Coro announces auditions for their 2018-2019 concert season. Coro is a vocal ensemble that provides its members the opportunity to perform solos, duets, and small and full ensembles from the classical, opera, operetta, and lyric stage repertoire.
This season will include a Young Artist Recital, a French country Summer Gala, and Mozart and the Musicians' Memoirs in the fall of 2018. The series continues in April 2019 with Twin Cities Americana, a concert showcasing compositions about the Twin Cities during the turn of the century. Please click on the link below for a full rehearsal and concert schedule. These events are excellent opportunities for singers who are seeking additional experience and looking to sing with a fine and dedicated ensemble. All voice parts and experience levels are welcome.

To Schedule an Audition
Coro desires singers who can commit to our full ensemble and the possibility of being part of featured groups (duets, trios, etc.) or solos. When you audition for Coro you are committing to a membership for the season as a full ensemble singer, even if you are also invited to be a soloist or part of a featured group. Thus, singers may participate in following categories:
Singers wishing to sing primarily in the full ensemble and not participate in solo or small ensemble work.
Singers who are in training and seeking a professional career in the vocal arts. Singers in this category may be offered further coaching and music education opportunities.
Soloist and Small Ensemble Singers
Participation in this category is dependent on the season programming and decisions made by the artistic director.
Coro does not require singers to pay any membership fees.
